The Asturian technology consulting firm Izertis, which is listed on the BME Growth market, has acquired the MBC Group, comprising the companies May Business Consulting in the United Kingdom and Spain. The group specializes in digital solutions for the financial sector. The total value of the transaction has not been published; the purchase includes cash payments and shares with a lock-up period of up to 36 months. In 2024, the MBC Group revenue was 8.4 million euros. It works mainly in the United Kingdom and Europe and has more than 100 professionals focused on digital services, risk management, and anti-money laundering.
This acquisition is part of Izertis’ new 2027 Strategic Plan. Its main objective is to achieve total revenue of €250 million and normalised EBITDA of €33 million by combining organic and inorganic growth. In addition, Izertis seeks to expand its international presence, particularly in Europe and the United States, strengthen its technological differentiation in areas such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, enhance brand recognition, and make the leap to the Continuous Market.
